Archer Emery & Associates

Julie Emery founded AEA in 2006 with Paul Archer (who has since retired), having both held senior positions within TGA including in the regulation of OTC, ‘complementary medicine’, cosmetic and food products.  Our expertise includes the regulation of medicines (drugs), medical devices, cosmetics and foods and technical advice and assistance regarding manufacturing and quality.  Julie, Donné Field and Rose Meinzer undertake the regulatory work and Alan Duff (a former TGA GMP inspector) provides specialist GMP services.  Janet Ramsay undertakes specialist project work, particularly writing complex dossiers and submissions and Morgan Cornell provides invaluable administrative assistance to yourselves and our clients.

Our core team is located in Perth, Australia (UTC/GMT +8) and we also have staff in Canberra, Australia (UTC/GMT +10), close to TGA headquarters.

How we charge

Whatever your project, we can save you time and money by providing reliable, effective advice in the minimum possible time – because we know the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) legislation, the people and the systems so well.

To ensure we’re delivering service and advice of the highest quality, wherever possible our work is reviewed by at least two team members. This is included in the cost.

We will either provide you with an estimate upon request, or for more substantial jobs present an initial assessment then follow up with a detailed estimate and timelines.

Our fees are based on hourly and daily rates. In some cases we may pass on costs such as substantial photocopying, freight or travel to you.
